About Us

DTV Pilipinas is a non-profit, non-government organization that has been formed for the purpose of delivering news and information on the shift from Analogue to Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) in the Philippines.

The group was formed in December 31, 2010 by individuals with a common goal of disseminating factual and accurate about Digital Terrestrial Television to the Filipinos, and for them to see the benefits for them to see significant improvements on their television viewing experience.

DTV Pilipinas seeks to accomplish this goal with the aspects of technology, business, and broadcasting content in mind, and its efforts have been recognized by several government agencies and non-government organizations, as well as by some of the broadcasters.

Since then, the group had also participated in several events and conventions, such as the IECEP Convention in 2011, 38th KBP Annual Top-level Management Conference in 2012, and the Digital TV Summit in 2017, as well as representing the Filipino consumer in meetings with the National Telecommunications Commission.

Mission

We aim to educate every Filipino on the benefits and advantages of Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) broadcast through the use of the internet, whether using the website or social networking platforms.

We also plan to actively participate in any discussions regarding DTT, whether it’s in a convention, meeting with stakeholders, or anyone inquiring through our online platforms.

Vision

DTV Pilipinas wants every Filipino to know that television is not just for entertainment, but also for information and public service, and we want everyone to know that it is possible through Digital Terrestrial Television.

Through new technologies that we use, we can all do our part in nation-building.
